Build Overview

Blood Mage Crit Spark Witch sprays Spark for rapid bouncing lightning, scaling burst through crit and curses. The Blood Mage core is Sanguimancy: spells cost life instead of mana, and slain enemies drop Life Remnants that heal you, forming a spend-and-recover loop; Vitality Siphon boosts spell leech hard, while Whispers of the Flesh and Blood Barbs amplify curses and bleed ailments. The whole build rests on a big life pool + high crit + leech sustain.

Gameplay Loop

1. Frost Bomb for exposure, then double-curse with Despair + Elemental Weakness;
2. Orb Of Storms to seed shock and Flame Wall to buff bouncing projectiles;
3. Spam Spark (Unleash for stored bursts) so lightning ricochets across the room;
4. Kills drop Life Remnants to heal, and Vitality Siphon leeches to sustain the life-cost casting;
5. Defend with Arctic Armour + Convalescence, tanking through the big life pool and leech.

Leveling

Level with Spark + Frost Bomb + Orb Of Storms for a smooth ride throughout. Take Sanguimancy first to move casting onto life, then Vitality Siphon for leech sustain, and Blood Barbs / Whispers of the Flesh for curses and ailments. Build your life pool first, then chase crit and life-cost casting.

Gear

Use a Siphoning Wand with lightning spell gem level, spell crit and cast speed, plus a Runed Focus offhand. For the Blood Mage, life is the resource — every piece prioritises maximum life and life%, with Sacramental Robe and Ornate Belt carrying life%. Crimson Amulet grants life + lightning gem level + crit multi, and Amethyst Ring adds chaos resistance and life.

Passives

Ascendancy order: Sanguimancy → Vitality Siphon → Blood Barbs → Whispers of the Flesh. On the tree, prioritise maximum life, spell crit/multi, lightning damage and curse effect, then leech and cast rate. For the Blood Mage, life is both your mana and your health bar, so the life pool and leech come first.
